Most millennials don’t know what donkey cards are. We found an old pack of cards stashed in our drawer and memories came flooding back to us. Perhaps it was a sense of nostalgia, a remembrance of things past. Not wanting the card game to remain a distant memory, we dragged it into the 21st century.
Futuristic geometric lines for the animal illustrations made them a fair distraction from our VR machines. A neutral colour scheme matures the appearance of the cards, like a sophisticated older sibling. Finally for a touch of luxe, we hand-pressed the cards and sheathed them in a customised vinyl box. Now it’s left the toy box and deserves pride of place between the artisanal craft beer and the iPad.
